Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg, Virginia is an experience my family enthusiastically recommends. Six years ago, we first visited the theme park on St. Patrick’s Day weekend during a Sneak Peak event. And we had a perfectly wonderful time. Which is why we recommend you visiting Busch Gardens this year!
The event takes place from Thursday, March 13th, through Monday, March 17th. It takes place all day (as in starting when the park opens and ending with the park closes for the day).

Entertainment
There are a number of live entertainment options throughout the park.
Celtic Fyre
This popular show, which combines storytelling and dance, is perfect for this special St. Patrick’s event. And it’s definitely a must see – it’s been recognized as the #1 Amusement Park Entertainment by USA Today five times! You can watch Celtic Fyre at the Abbey Stone Theatre in the Ireland section of the park. My family really likes the show – and I am sure your family will, too!
Killarney Village Celebration
Celebrate the holiday with music, Mayor O’Malley, stilt walkers, and more!
Dublin Over
During this open-air performance in the Ireland section of the park, you’ll enjoy impressive acoustic music, from classical Irish songs to contemporary hits.
Local Irish Dance Schools
On Saturday and Sunday, you can watch performances by some of Virginia’s Irish dance schools in the Abbey Stone Theatre.
Clancy Meet & Greet
Don’t leave the Ireland section of the park without getting a photo with everyone’s favorite Busch Gardens leprechaun, Clancy!
Drinks
What is a good St. Patrick’s Day celebration without green beer or a good Irish stout?
